Complete remodel of an existing bathroom in Owosso, Michigan. All new flooring, bathroom fixtures, new cabinets, new cultured stone shower, new toilet, new quartz countertop, new linen cabinet, new mirror, new lighting, new bathroom accessories (towel bars, towel ring, toilet paper holder), full drywall replacement, paint.
Customer's Wishes
The goal was to create a more functional bathroom with aging-in-place concerns. The customers want to be able to remain in their home as long as they can and the design needed to be both functional for future limited mobility along and be beautiful as well. The removal of the jetted tub was critical to the overall design and the change in layout and location of the shower is much more accessible. They wanted the flooring in the master bedroom to seamlessly flow from the hallway to to master bedroom and into the master bathroom. Improved lighting and additional locations for storage were requested.
