Service Overview

The designer explored the options of the space with the customer wishes. In order to help with project budgets, the goal was to keep the existing location of the kitchen window and sliding glass door. By removing the pass through door to the living room, the design of the kitchen opened up to allow for a much better layout and functional space. The two-tone lower and upper cabinets provide a beautiful updated look. The new cabinets with soft close doors and drawers along with pull out shelving create better function along with the improved form. Hardwood flooring was installed in the kitchen and dining area and continued throughout the majority of the home. The waterfall edge quartz countertop adds a stunning design element to this beautiful kitchen remodel.

Customer's Wishes

The conversation started with the desire to expand the size and functionality of the kitchen. The existing kitchen was tight and outdated. The client was hopeful that they could improve the flow and space of the kitchen by removing an existing pass through door into their living room/study area. Removing the door would allow for more space along that wall to create a better layout for their pantry and refrigerator while providing a space for their additional appliance. They were hopeful that they could remove the cramped small island and replace with a more functional peninsula in the expanded kitchen area. They were hopeful that we could remove an existing interior wall to expand the size of the dining area and open up the kitchen/dining area in the main floor.
