Breaking Down Walls for a Brighter Kitchen
Project Goals:
- Remove wall in kitchen to open up space and expand kitchen.
- Remove soffits in the kitchen to provide more storage and modernize the space.
- Update the bathroom to match new aesthetic in the kitchen.
- Update flooring throughout the upstairs level.
- Update lighting and painting throughout the upstairs level.
- Update painting on the stairs railing.

Project Overview
The smaller kitchen felt tight and the customer were hoping to be able to expand the kitchen and update to suit their tastes. One of the goals was to brighten the space with a lot of updated lighting as part of the remodel. The existing kitchen was very small and closed off with a separation wall between the small kitchen and dining space. The the remodel included demolition of the existing kitchen and bathroom with kitchen layout change including removal of wall between kitchen and dining. Kitchen: Expansion of kitchen with layout change, new LVP flooring, cabinets, quartz countertop, undermount sink, faucet, LED recessed lighting and over sink pendant light, under cabinet lighting, drywall, paint, electrical updates, plumbing updates, appliance installed, removal of soffits. Bathroom: Demolition of existing bathroom with install of new LVP flooring, vanity cabinet, quartz countertop with undermount sink, vanity faucet, framed mirror, vanity lighting, bath fan, tub/shower Vykrell unit, above commode cabinet, painting.
