Future Proofing the Bathroom
Project Goals:
- Relocate the shower to provide space for laundry on main floor.
- Remove alcove tub to provide location for large walk-in shower.
- Update vanity to allow for roll up vanity location for wheelchair accessibility.
- Change bathroom door to barn door style to open up entry to bathroom.

Project Overview
The walk to the basement to do the laundry was becoming more difficult and the goal was to remodel the bathroom to make room for the stacked washer and dryer by moving the existing shower in place of the alcove tub. Remodel of an existing bathroom to accommodate the laundry in place of the existing shower. Remove existing alcove bathtub with replacement of a larger walk-in shower. Replace existing vanity and install new quartz countertop. Update to all electrical and plumbing fixtures. Install new toilet and commode storage.
