After living in their home for over 20 years, the customer decided it was time to update and remodel their original kitchen to create the kitchen of their dreams. Functionality and style were key in the layout of the new kitchen renovation. With the grandchildren now living close by, a central functional island was an important factor in the new layout. Opening up the wall between the kitchen and family room was also an important consideration. Full gut and remodel of the existing original kitchen. The copper range hood and color difference between the island cabinets and surrounding cabinets create some wonderful design elements. The textured backsplash tiles provide interest and beauty.
