  • As part of the kitchen remodel, update other areas of the home including flooring, lighting, and paint.
  • Convert cramped bedroom space into a larger and more comfortable bedroom with access to a full bathroom.

Project Overview

Although this is listed in our portfolio as a kitchen remodel, the scope of work extended to the majority of the main floor of the home. The kitchen was completely gutted out with a full change to the layout. Because of the joist layout between the main floor and the upstairs, support beams were added and changes were made to the mechanical systems to accommodate. The kitchen was updated with new Pioneer cabinets with Cambria countertops. The flooring throughout much of the main floor was updated with a mix of tile, carpet, and luxury vinyl plank. Lighting was updated in the kitchen and adjacent areas using recessed LED lighting along with pendants above the island, a light fixture above the dining table, and undercabinet lighting in the kitchen. The new Café appliances were provided by Bekins and are the perfect fit with the champagne bronze fixtures and accessories for the French Country style. This project included remodeling the existing main floor laundry room by converting it to a full bathroom and laundry room combined. This new bathroom serves an adjacent remodeled bedroom as part of the project scope. The entry from the garage was completely updated as well to serve as an entry mudroom with storage cabinets and a place to hang coats.
