Project Overview

Full kitchen remodel including minor updates to the kitchen layout. The kitchen generally stayed in the same space with a full update to everything in the kitchen. The demolition of the kitchen includes removal of the flooring, cabinets, drywall, lighting, soffits, and countertop. The kitchen remodel includes installation of full height upper wall cabinets, installation of additional cabinets and rework of the kitchen island cabinets layout. To improve lighting, we removed the single kitchen center light and replaced with recessed LED lighting along with under cabinet lighting. The new cabinets were made by Pioneer cabinets (a local Michigan cabinet maker) and we installed Cambria quartz countertops. One of the homeowner's favorite features of the kitchen remodel is the subtle pop of blue incorporated in the island cabinets and the tile backsplash. Because we updated the flooring in multiple rooms, we installed a beautiful vinyl plank flooring throughout a good portion of the main floor. The homeowner had previously purchased some pendant lighting that they wanted to reuse in the new kitchen and they tied in perfectly with the updated kitchen space!
