Getting Cozy Under the Stairs
Project Goals:
- Create a large open family gathering space at the daylight basement.
- Add a bedroom and full basement bathroom for guests and possible growing family.
- Utilize the space in the stairs for a cozy reading space for the kids.

Project Overview
The goal was to provide additional living space along with a new bedroom for guests to be able to stay and visit with their own bathroom. Finish of a basement in Eagle, Michigan with a large family room area, full bathroom, and bedroom. The design utilized the under stair space as a fun reading nook with light for the kids to have a cozy place to read and relax. The basement was already a daylight style which allowed for good natural lighting through the windows.
